For one of our camps, I developed this resource to help teach preteens how to pray as a part of a pre-communion service teaching time. The first side contains thought bubbles, where they can brainstorm their answers to the following prompts:
- I’m thankful to God for…
- What I want to see God do in my life is…
- Things I love about God are…
- I need to tell God I’m sorry for…
On the back, preteens can fill in their answers from the front side in order to form a prayer.
